Santo Spirito, an island in Venice’s lagoon with a derelict convent, has been put up for sale by Italian real-estate investors for more than 20 million euros ($28 million).

Holding company Poveglia Ltd. hired Colliers International to sell the 6.2-acre (2.5-hectare) island, which is a 10-minute boat ride from St. Mark’s Square, the broker said in an e-mailed statement.

As well as the 3,500 square-meter (38,000 square-foot) ruined convent, founded in the 12th century, the property has planning consent for 4,500 square meters of new construction. Colliers said Santo Spirito is the last complete island available for sale in the lagoon.

“Investors have the unique chance to customize an island to their needs,” said Massimo Saporito, head of investment in Italy for Colliers. The site would best suit a luxury residential development or a hotel, he said.

Venice’s art, architecture and heritage, the legacy of the city’s domination of maritime trade in the Mediterranean Sea in the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attracted 8.5 million visitors last year, according to the city’s tourism board.

Flooding, a hazard for the city because of the lagoon, prompted United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Director Rene Maheu to start a program in 1966 to restore and preserve buildings and art.

It is one of the most famous of Italy's sights but the footsteps of the 20 million tourists who tramp through Venice each year have taken a heavy toll on the 400-year-old Rialto Bridge.

Salvation is now at hand for the crumbling structure, with the Italian founder of the Diesel clothing brand reportedly agreeing to restore the 16th century bridge.

The sponsorship deal is expected to be announced in the next few days, according to Corriere della Sera newspaper.

The offer by Renzo Rosso, 55, comes a few months after a millionaire shoe tycoon, Diego Della Valle, signed an accord to pay for the £22 million pound clean-up of another world famous monument, the Colosseum in Rome, where gladiators once did battle.

Mr Rosso, one of Italy's wealthiest and successful businessmen, was nominated Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young in 1997 and Man of the Year by GQ in 2005.

The Ponte Rialto, which was completed in 1591, is the oldest of four bridges that cross the Grand Canal and is a must-see for any tourist visiting the lagoon city.

But with more than 60,000 visitors descending on Venice every day, it has been reduced to an increasingly fragile state.

A column from the bridge's stone balustrade collapsed earlier this year, and large cracks have appeared in the marble steps on either side.

For decades Venice has benefited from a Special Law under which Rome provided extra funds for the upkeep of its palaces and canals.

But saddled with a massive public debt, representing 120 per cent of GDP, the government of Silvio Berlusconi has reduced the money, forcing Venetian authorities to court private sponsors to make up the shortfall.

Restoration work to a dozen or so key palazzi and churches is now being paid for by companies such as Prada, Bulgari, Louis Vuitton and a foundation funded by Francois Pinault, the French luxury goods billionaire and art collector.

"It's good for the companies' images but it's also a civic commitment by people with wealth," said Giorgio Orsoni, the mayor of Venice.

"Needless to say, this sort of patronage benefits Venice, especially when the Special Law no longer helps us much."

Tourists visiting Venice are to be hit with a hotel tax from next month, as the Italian city tries to earn money to "save the city" from rising sea levels.
Visitors staying in five-star hotels will see 4.50 euros (£4) added to their bill from Aug 24, while those staying in less luxurious accommodation will pay according to a sliding scale of fees as the city edges closer to the long-vaunted idea of an entrance fee.

Venice council hopes the tax will raise millions of pounds for the urgent maintenance of the city, which is slowly sinking into the mud and is threatened by rising sea levels and more frequent winter storms.

"The fundamental objective is to secure from tourists who visit and love Venice a contribution to sustain a city that is unique, extremely precious but also extremely fragile," said Sandro Simionato, the deputy mayor.

Venice risks being swamped by tourists – the city's population recently dipped beneath 60,000 and it is invaded by the same number of tourists each day.

Critics of the tax fear that it could increase the number of day-trippers because tourists will be reluctant to pay the extra cost of staying the night.

Venice can work for families, but my advice is take plenty of money, and spend it all with love and foresight. Two life-enhancing hours in a gondola or speedboat may be expensive, but when you're shelling out €80 for a 40-minute ride, remember it's only the price of a game console or a lacklustre family trip to a pizza joint in suburbia back home. But you'll be even better off remembering that children love public transport almost as much. You will inevitably want to tick off the main sites, so find ways to make them more fun for kids. “Everyone has to be moving in the right position with the right timing.” It’s a novel way of looking at it, but there’s not a lot of gracefulness to our current situation – sat in kayaks, tiny specks of orange plastic being tossed about on the choppy open waters of the Canale delle Navi, a busy shipping lane on the edge of Venice, waiting for a break in the traffic. Cargo ships, luxury yachts, leisure cruisers and construction barges surge by, each of them sending out waves that rock us nervously on the water.

We see our opportunity and take it, paddling vigorously between water taxis and speedboats driven by rich old men with young women sunbathing on their decks. There’s a saltiness in the air as we enter the city. Immediately inside, we come across a gondola workshop, a behind-the-scenes look at the work that goes into maintaining the view of the city tourists see. We glide down narrow, shaded canalways where local people have hung washing out to dry between the buildings, and pass groups of old men sitting in cafes drinking espresso and wine.

As we head further into the city, we share the water with gondolas, water taxis and cargo ships. One boat is unloading goods at a supermarket, another with a crane is doing construction work on a canal-side house. The canals of Venice have been described as the veins of the city – they’re not just pleasant places for tourist cruises, but working waterways, and to be on them is to see daily Venetian life in action. “All goods and materials are moved on water,” Rene tells us. “If you live here and order a fridge, it will come by boat. The canals are the main roads. If you’re on the canals, you’ll see Venetians at work. If you’re on land, you’ll see other tourists.”

The tourist crowds can be overwhelming during the summer months – kayaking around the city, even near the tourist hotspots, has a relaxing feeling of being detached from all that. “It’s the only way you can get away from all the other tourists, to be in a boat that isn’t a gondola,” says Rene. “On a nice sunny day like this, there are probably half a million tourists, plus another 60,000 people living here. It’s hard to find anywhere that 1,000 tourists haven’t found before you.”

We pause in the water outside San Pedro, a white church with one of the city’s three leaning towers, while Rene tells us about the tension between commerce and religion in Venice’s history. “There was a clash between the republic of Venice, as a state, and the church organisation. Venice made its livelihood trading with Muslims. And at times, during the Crusades, for example, there was antagonism between Muslims and Christians, so the church wanted to ban trade with Muslims, but Venice couldn’t and didn’t want to.” One of the troublesome church leaders demanded a church be built for him – the city obliged, but wisely built San Pedro for him out here, on the outskirts of the city, too far away for him to bother them.

We paddle on. Outside the Campo Arsenale, we duck down against the kayaks to squeeze under an incredibly low bridge behind two lion statues, a tunnel not even gondolas would be able to make it through. It leads us deeper into the undiscovered nooks and crannies of the labyrinthine city. “We can go to places you can only get to by boat: 80% of the canals are off limits to non-authorised motorised traffic. We can go anywhere,” says Rene, likening kayaking here to cycling in any other city.

We weave in and out of quiet canals, the buildings a jumble of architectural styles. Venice was an important trading centre for 1,000 years up until the 1500s or 1600s. Jewish, Greek, German, Armenian and other merchant populations lived in their own neighbourhoods, helping create the city’s cultural mix.

The view from the water means being able to take a close look at the grand facades of buildings designed to face the canal. “The old facades of the buildings and major palaces are all towards the canals,” says Rene. “In the old days, nobles used to travel by water and enter by water. Only poor people and servants would walk and go in from the land sides.” We also see the abandoned lower floors of buildings that have been lost to flooding

Rene calls out as we approach blind corners, announcing our presence and position to other “road” users. Still, it pays to be on the ball. “You don’t want to turn a corner and have a cargo ship coming straight at you. There’s no way they could stop, even if they did see you.”

We park our kayaks for lunch on the steps of the Campo di SS Giovanni e Paolo. As we restock our energy supplies with foccacia, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and olives, an accordionist plays O Sole Mio (also known as the Just One Cornetto song). “Now we’re going to go down the Grand Canal and play with some gondolas,” says Rene as we set off again. Our route takes us behind the dauntingly leaning tower of Campo S Stefano. The builders realised it was leaning halfway through construction, but instead of starting again, they kept going, buttressing the tower at the back. Usually tourists only see the front, but from our canal perspective we get a close look at the unusual piece of engineering at the rear that keeps the tower standing. It must be difficult to get insurance on surrounding buildings.

We emerge on to the Grand Canal, just outside the Guggenheim Museum. There’s a real sense of history paddling up the Grand Canal of Venice. Gondolas, motor boats, cargo ships and the occasional ambulance or police boat are out on the water, but it feels more like a scene from the days of old, when the city was a busy trading centre.

We paddle towards the iconic Rialto Bridge, which spans the Grand Canal. It’s covered with tourists watching the daytime traffic who look at us with bemusement, their cameras at the ready to capture the unusual sight of kayakers on the Grand Canal. We must appear on hundreds of holiday snaps. Rene chooses this moment to tell us: “We had a woman capsize last night. Someone filmed it from the bridge – she’s expecting to be on YouTube soon.”

The next afternoon, we head out again from the Lido, just across the water from Venice, to explore deserted islands and abandoned buildings, before crossing another shipping lane into the city. After a light dinner of seafood antipasti, we begin a night tour of the city from the Jewish ghetto, paddling along peaceful canals as darkness falls.

The night in Venice has a different character altogether from the day. Historian Peter Ackroyd wrote in Venice: “The night and silence of Venice are profound … It has a quality of stillness that suits the mood of time preserved … The doorways seem darker than in any other city, lapped as they are by the black water. The little lamps still flicker before the statues of the Virgin on the corners of the calli. There are no drunkards roaming through the street into the early-morning hours, no raucous shouts. One contemporary acoustics engineer has measured the level of nocturnal sound in Venice at 32 decibels; the night of other cities is approximately 13 decibels louder. There is no “background’ noise.”

Occasionally we pass a gondola carrying a couple on a romantic cruise, but mostly we’re alone. I follow the purple glowstick on the back of Rene’s head as we float through empty canals. “At night, all the daily work traffic disappears,” says Rene. “A lot of the private boats disappear. There are very few taxis or gondolas. ”

Paddling at night feels like the Venice of old that Ackroyd described. “You don’t have the waves or the noise from the traffic,” Rene agrees. “I find it very nice, but some people find it spooky. Some of the darker canals at the back of the city, behind St Mark’s, have no illumination – light from the windows comes through the iron grills casting shadows on the walls.”

We arrive again at the Grand Canal. By day, it’s impressive, but by night it’s something else altogether: grand, romantic and incredibly atmospheric, orange and white lights reflecting off the black water, architectural wonders (Baroque, neo-Classical, Gothic…) to either side. We dodge the occasional vaporetto (water bus) but otherwise have it all to ourselves. It feels like we’re paddling through an ancient deserted half-flooded city.

The last stragglers of the day’s tourists watch us pass under the Rialto Bridge as we travel down the Grand Canal, past the City Hall. We stop to take in the famous, and unusually quiet Saint Mark’s Square at night, the lights from the square shining on the water. Across the canal is the grand illuminated dome of the Madonna della Salute.

Lights start to flicker behind the red and white tower of San Giorgio Maggiore, then metallic drum-rolls of thunder sound as a storm builds and the entire sky strobes with lightning, as if the scene wasn’t quite dramatic enough already.

Venice Fest "No Longer Special" Say Critics

Newspaper critics are increasingly being put off by how expensive the Venice Film Festival, which begins tomorrow, has become. One critic from Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf says that he can spend two weeks covering Toronto for the same cost of one week in Venice. This at a time when newspapers are reducing staff and slashing travel budgets. Increasingly, critics are covering either the first few days or the closing few days. The London Guardian is sending just two critics and a reporter to the festival. And those two critics who are leap-frogging each other.

Baz Bamigboye, show-business reporter for the Daily Mail, tells me: “My sense is that it’s no longer special. There are fewer important films and the place has become another junket nightmare.” Bamigboye isn’t going to Venice this year. Peter Bradshaw of the Guardian agrees: “Venice is declining in importance.”

A deeper problem though is Hollywood stars staying away. It’s very expensive to get Hollywood A-listers to come out to Italy. And when they are there, they want to stay at one of the city’s big luxury hotels such as the Gritti Palace or the Danieli – both of which are some distance from the Lido, where the fest takes place. Even transporting Hollywood stars from their suites to the event becomes expensive. Distributors cannot justify dropping so much money this early in the awards season. Toronto is a great deal cheaper. That is why Fox has decided to give Never Let Me Go its world premiere in Toronto rather than Venice, I’m told. Actors coming out to Venice this year include Jessica Alba (Machete), Helen Mirren (The Tempest), Paul Giamatti (Barney's Version), Stephen Dorff (Somewhere) and Casey Affleck (I'm Still Here).

Absence of star power on the red carpet, combined with how costly Venice is, has become a headache for festival organisers. Marco Mueller, director of the Venice Film Festival, was unavailable for comment.

The festival has not been entirely unresponsive to the critics’ plight though, despite fest organisers responding with an Italianate shrug when PRs warn them about the problem. The festival pays the entire accommodation costs of some critics it wants there. And there’s only so much the festival can do. Hotels and restaurants want to try and make as much money as they can throughout the 11-day festival.

Venice has seen off a threat from the rival Rome Film Festival, which was throwing money at Hollywood. Now that money tap has been turned off, Venice has re-established its local dominance. The bigger problem is that Venice and Berlin are both are in the shadow of Cannes. If a newspaper can only cover one festival each year, it’s probably going to be Cannes. Guardian critic Xan Brooks tells me: “The likes of Venice, Toronto, Sundance, Berlin and SXSW are in a dead heat for second place. Or, put it another way: a five-way tie for last.” One flack adds: “Love it or hate it, you have to go to Cannes. Combined with fewer Hollywood A-listers doing press, it’s becoming a real problem for Venice.”

So, which film do critics think will win this year’s prestigious Golden Lion? David Gritten of the London Daily Telegraph sticks his neck out and says the opening night film, Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan, has a good chance of winning. Every critic I have spoken to is also keen to see Robert Rodriquez’s Machete, Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere and Catherine Breillat’s latest psychosexual fairy-tale Sleeping Beauty. Brooks says he also wants to see Vincent Gallo’s Promises Written In Water, “just to find out if it’s as self-indulgent and hilariously solipsistic as The Brown Bunny”. He adds that predicting which film is going to win a festival prize is like pinning a tail on a donkey blindfold. “That’s the thing about film festivals,” adds his colleague Peter Bradshaw. “You sometimes find a diamond in the rough.”

Looks like not…the prices for accommodations in Venice are tremendously sinking…an example:

2 years ago a double room in a standard Bed and Breakfast in Venice center was something like 120 EUR per nigh…now 49 EUR!!!

Is the crisis taking place now or simply before there was an overpricing of the accommodations?

Difficult to say, but my opinion is that all the major online agency have a system that induce you to slowly decrease the price of your offer in order to stay on top of the list, so slowly, 1 EUR a day you reach the situation that for one night you only cover the expenses for Breakfast, personal, cleaning.

Meditate on it…..

How to Impress an Italian Guy

Travel opens you up to all kinds of new experiences, so it’s only natural that travelers are more susceptible to falling head over heels in love with people they meet on the road. Sometimes it’s another traveler in the hostel common room, but when you’re traveling in Italy it’s almost impossible not to fall in love (or at least what feels like love right then) with an Italian.

But what happens when you meet an Italian girl who you want to do more than make flirty eye contact with across a dimly-lit dance floor? What if you’d actually like to ask her to dinner and not feel the sting of rejection? If that’s the case then you need to know a few things about how to impress an Italian girl - some of this stuff will seem pretty straightforward, but other tips here may be surprising to you.

Pay Attention to Style

Italians are stylish, so what you wear counts for quite a bit when you’re being assessed by an Italian girl. Italian guys are snappy dressers, always paying attention to the latest fashions and what’s trendy - so in order to compete with them, you’ve got to do the same. There is absolutely such a thing as “too casual” when it comes to attire in Italy.

Travelers may have trouble keeping up with exactly what’s hot fashion-wise, but if you’re intent on getting past “ciao” with that pretty Italian girl, you’d do well to invest in a nice shirt or a new pair of pants. Be on the lookout for whatever seems to be in all the shop windows - either a particular cut or a particular color - and you’re on the right track.

And if you can’t justify spending money on some new duds, at the very least be certain your hair (including facial hair) is clean and well-trimmed.

Don’t Talk Politics

Just as is the case in any culture, there are certain subjects you don’t want to bring up in conversations until you know where the other person stands on the issue. In Italy, when you’re trying to impress an Italian girl, the main thing you want to steer clear of is politics.

Depending on the company you’re with, you’ll probably also want to avoid talking about religion - whether the Italian girl you’re chatting up seems religious or not, Italians as a general rule take religion very seriously (and the vast majority of them identify as Catholic). So even if you’re Catholic, too, it’s a subject best avoided until you know the person better.

Be Confident, but Don’t Forget Chivalry

As I noted recently, Italian women are confident creatures - but that doesn’t mean they like meek men. To impress an Italian girl, you’ve got to be sure of yourself, confident in your opinions, and not afraid to speak your mind.

In addition to that, however, you’ve also got to remember that chivalry remains a high priority in Italy - so plan on opening doors for that special lady and treating her as if she’s the center of your universe. And when you’re out on your date with her, be prepared to pay for everything. Oh, and if you get past the group date (outlined below) to a first date with just her alone, show up with flowers.

Don’t Ever Criticize Mom

The idea of the “mama’s boy” may be more stereotypically familiar in Italy, but throughout the country the Italian mama is something of a holy figure. Easily one of the worst things you could do when trying to impress an Italian girl would be to criticize anyone’s mother - yours, hers, or anyone else’s.

And then later, should you be lucky to get far enough into a relationship with an Italian girl to meet her family, it doesn’t matter if you ever hear her complain about her mother - you are not allowed to do the same (whether you’re just agreeing with her or not). It’s a sticky situation, sort of a “does this dress make me look fat” thing where there’s no right answer - but you’re still better off skirting the issue than expressing agreement when she bitches about her mother.

Oh, and since most Italian women aren’t looking for a “mama’s boy,” don’t talk too much about your own mother, either - especially if you still live at home.

First Date Comes After a Group Date

Italians typically go out on first dates in small groups, rather than just the two people in the would-be couple. So even if you ask an Italian girl if she’d like to meet up for an aperitivo don’t be surprised if she brings a couple close girlfriends along. (Which means you should be prepared to have a couple of your friends on call to join you as well.)

It’s not that she’s scared of being alone with you, it’s that there’s far less chance for awkward silences in a group - plus, this gives everyone the chance to see how they like not only the potential partner but also that person’s closest pals. After all, if you’ll be spending lots of time with the girl, you’ll also be spending lots of time with her friends. Getting a second or third date usually means she not only likes you, but she likes (and approves of) your friends, too.

Learn the Language

More and more Italians (especially younger generations) speak at least a little English these days, but knowing a little bit of the Italian language definitely won’t hurt your chances. Italians seem to know that their language isn’t exactly the most lucrative one to learn, so they’re usually touched by anyone who makes an effort to learn a few phrases. (And if you happen to speak French, I’m told that Italian women seem to like hearing a bit of français as well.)

To impress an Italian girl, get beyond the simple “ciao” and learn how to give her a compliment. Ask around to make sure you’re translating whatever compliment you want to deliver properly, but for the most part stumbling good-naturedly over a phrase you learned just for her is also pretty endearing. If she laughs at you in a not-so-nice way then she probably isn’t worth impressing anyway. Which leads me to…

Be Yourself

Despite all the pointers listed in this article, above all you want to be genuinely yourself when you’re attempting to impress an Italian girl. Aside from the fact that if you’re pretending to be someone you’re not in the early stages, that’s not going to end well when she finds out you’re someone else later on - Italians just tend to be more up-front when it comes to dating in general.

Even though “The Rules” was actually translated into Italian, it seems that either it wasn’t widely read - or Italians just ignored such strange head-game advice like “get a phone number but don’t call for three days.” If they like you, they’ll call. If they don’t, they’ll probably tell you they’re not interested so you don’t even have to wait for a call that may or may not ever come! Be ready for honesty, and be yourself in return.

Lotta al ribasso

Come il titolo precede, volevo comunicare una sensazione che ho avuto circa un anno fa.
Prima di tutto pero´devo fare una premessa.
Ho lavorato per un paio d´anni in Germania, dove avevo una ditta di assistenza computer e vendita, anche online.
In quel tempo ( circa tre anni fa) si savano affermando tutte quelle liste di prodotti online che di chiamano (cito solo ad onor di cronaca): guenstiger, geiz, preissuchmaschine ecc... che tradotto significa: "piu´economico", risparmiatore, motore di ricerca dei prezzi.
Tutte nello stesso stile, cioe´ chi fa il prezzo piu´basso sta su, e ha piu´possibilita´di essere cliccato.
Ora capite dove sto arrivando e cosa sta succedendo.
Cio´significava che se nel 2000 si poteva guagnagnare sui pezzi dei computer il 30%, ora chi fa il 3% ha gia´un buon guadagno....3%...su 1000 EUR 30 EUR...non male....
Sta succedendo lo stesso adesso a Venezia...i grossi hotels aVenezia in Bacino S. marco fanno il 76 % di sconto, i piccoli hotels, per avere prenotazioni guardano chi e´piu´su nella lista di booking o venere e fanno 1 euro in meno, via cosi´tutto il giorno fino a che una stanza arriva a 30 EUR.
Ecco che pero´successe qualcosa.
Chi nelle liste guenstiger era sempre al primo posto, dopo 2-3 mesi scompariva e sapete perche´? Aveva fallito, bancarotta.
Certo, il sistema al ribasso non funziona, e´ la cura del sintomo, non del male.
E´come prendere l´aspirina per il raffreddore, toglie al momento la sensazione dello starnuto, ma non guarisce, solo il tempo e un buon brodino caldo.
Quindi il ribasso puo´forse creare un illusione di mercato in movimento, in realta´ distrugge , e´autodistruzione.
Chi nel mercato dei computer sopravviveva era chi offriva servizi e garanzia, magari un po´piu´caro, ma con garanzia e servizio. E nel mondo albergatore sappiamo cosa sono garanzia e servizio, forse si chiamano ospitalita´e amichevolezza, gioia e voglia di vedere l´ospite felice di aver riposato bene.
Chi ha poi adesso un Bed and Breakfast a Venezia non vive sogni tranquilli, come si fa a competere con gli alberghi a 5 stelle che fanno i loro stessi prezzi?
Perche´il prezzo non e´ l´arma, il potere di un Bed and Breakfast e´lo stile familiare, che la gente di tutto il mondo apprezza ancora, cé´ tutto un mercato turistico che ricerca l´alloggio a casa del cittadino, ed e´un mercato che qui a venezia abbiamo dimenticato, facendo passare un B&B per un hotel, con la stessa gestione, invece di offrire il calore di casa.
Ricerche di mercato, invece di lotta al ribasso, il messaggio di oggi.

Ok, I can already set up a sensation about the carnival of Venice 2009.
Well, it confirm that Venice is a city to see and not to live. Sundey, the 15th I´ve found myself in Piazza San Marco unable to move forward. Tousend of people, not masked were standing and watching, and carneval is a situation where the people shold be active and enjoy.
No, standing and watching the other, waiting that someone is doing something.
Sad...
Every Bar who was trying to make some music anf lock the people had to stop at 9 pm in order to avoid a big money fee from the local police.
I don´t say that people didn´t enjoy,I´m saying: it happens one time a year, just let the energy out and enjoy carneval....insterad of big happening only in San Marco give some contribute to Venetian artists who can fill and express themselves around 'Venice.
And some music, maybe this time untill midnight...;-)

The question above wants to cause some comment...yes every business, specially in Venice, can see it.
Never ever there was such a "skinny winter", at least in the last 15 years, the number of the tourists that are visiting Venice decreases drastically, and everybody now, is starting to ask the question: " will this arise again?".
The Future... but now we have to handle the present situation, a situation where the big 4 Stars Hotels are competing the prices of the small Bed and Breakfasts destroying the normal Values of all accommodation in Venice.
Did we over estimated the business possibility?
Shall we came back to the old statement of a seasonal job? Shall we open Venice only spring and Autumn?
Or is Venice interesting only when it's warm? Do we offer some entertainment to the tourists during Winter?
This is also a question for our politicians, we left our city to casuality.

Finalmente e´nato un blog per gli amanti di Venezia, amanti stranieri, o turisti , o forse di stranieri che nei sogni immaginano che un giorno possano abitare a Venezia.
oppure per chi sente questa citta´come seconda patria, e passa molti attimi della sua vita, quando il tempo libero lo permette, di tornare sempre a Venezia da luoghi remoti e visitarne ogni suo angolo.
